CG Supervisor, Mackevision
Christian Zilliken works as CG Supervisor at Mackevision Stuttgart since 2013. Before that, he worked as Freelance Digital Artist since the year 2000, specializing in Shading and Lighting and FX tasks. Christian took part in several award winning Movies and TV shows such as “Hugo Capret”, “Oblivion”, George Lucas “Redtails” and the upcoming “Independence Day 2”. He worked with the Game of Thrones VFX team on Season 2, 3, 4,5 and 6 as well as the Shannara Chronicles. In 2015, he won a VES Award for Best Created Environment in a Commercial, Broadcast Program, or Video Game for Game of Thrones: Braavos Establisher.
VFX Supervisor, Bläck
Henrik Eklundh has been working in the field of VFX and CGI since 2006 starting as a generalist doing both 3D and 2D work. Playing a lot of games, like Quake and Counter-Strike competitively, also impacted his choice of career. Furthermore, seeing old cinematics from Final Fantasy sparked his interest in creating CG artwork and movies. Being focused on the end result and final look of the image this steared him into the lookdev and lighting parts of productions. Eventually, he took the role of a VFX Supervisor. He is now the main VFX Supervisor at Bläck, handling key productions such as Conan Exiles and Warhammer - End Times - Vermintide.

Starting out with traditional art (painting and clay) in 1999 Jonas discovered the world of 3D and realised which path he wanted to pursue professionally. Being a perfectionist, he strives towards fully understanding the human body and what makes a digital character realistic in order to bring the best possible content to the screen. Over the years Jonas has had a leading role in major productions such as Battlefield, God of War and Conan Exiles.
Throughout high school Andreas experimented with personal CG and VFX projects. After completing an internship at Unexpected Postproduction in Stuttgart, he decided to further deepen his knowledge and improve his skills by signing up for the Animation & Effects program at Filmakademie. Despite being a recent graduate, he has already done quite a few projects with companies such as Pixomondo and Mackevision.
After completing his degree in business information systems in 2005, Francesco started his own business as a producer and managed a small studio with 4 employees, where he produced 3D visualization projects and VFX productions for television. In 2013 he decided to leave the studio because the focus of the company shifted towards the direction of live action film. His passion in visual effects led him to apply to Filmakademie where he pursued the newly launched degree “Animation & Effects Producer”.
Director Chaos Group Labs, Chaos Group
CG industry veteran Christopher Nichols is a founder of the Digital Human League and leads projects for Chaos Group Labs. He is also the host of the popular CG Garage podcast. With a background in both VFX and Design, Christopher has worked for Gensler, Digital Domain, Imageworks and Method Studios. His credits include Maleficent, Oblivion and Tron: Legacy. His passion for design, lighting and technology drives him to push the art form and enable artists worldwide.
Independent Filmmaker and Director, Blur Studios
Kevin Margo is director of the hit sci-fi short film “Grounded”. He joined Blur studio in 2003 as a scene assembly, lighting and compositing artist and has since moved into the studio’s VFX/CG Supervisor role. His most recent work includes his original short film, CONSTRUCT and directing the trailer for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege featuring a strikingly realistic CG performance by Angela Bassett.
Pipeline Technical Director, Framestore
Jesse Spielman combines his skills as a compositing artist with in-depth technical know-how, finding solutions and possibilities to evolve the Framestore pipeline. In his current role as Pipeline Technical Director Jesse is integral to the development of the global advertising workflow with a focus on its 2D aspects, while also lending his skillset to supporting the Nuke team. Jesse holds a BFA in Film and Animation from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and cut his teeth in the industry working as a compositor in New York City. He freelanced across a wealth of major studios before joining full-time in London in 2014. His portfolio includes major pictures such as the Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis and 2015’s Spectre, directed by Sam Mendes, as well as TV series ‘Rescue Me’, ‘Damages’, and ‘Borgia’.
CG Specialist, Chaos Group
Lyudmil is a CG professional with more than 10 years’ experience in the field of architectural visualization, animation and visual effects. Before joining Chaos Group, he worked as a CG specialist and compositor at some of the biggest VFX studios in Bulgaria. Lyudmil joined the Chaos Group CG team in 2014 and since then he’s focused on helping companies and professionals get the best out of V-Ray rendering engine.

Yana Andreeva joined Chaos Group in 2013, and she’s responsible for V-Ray presentation content and videos. She has a bachelor degree in Audiovisual Media from Stuttgart Media University, and a masters in Digital Arts from the University of Applied Sciences, Upper Austria. Before joining Chaos Group, she worked as a 3D artist on campaigns for Intel, Hugo Boss, Porsche, Caterpillar and Red Bull.

Michael Feuerroth worked as a freelance artist before starting Atelier Feuerroth. The atelier has won several renowned awards with its work. Michael divides his time between the Atelier and teaching courses at schools in Karlsruhe and Hamburg.
